Snow artists from around the world competed January 26 – 30, 2016 in Breckenridge, Colorado at the International Snow Sculpture Championships. The sculptures, which will remain on display through February 7, 2016, started as 12-foot-tall, 20+ ton blocks of snow. Teams from all over the world competed using only hand tools, with artists achieving finished pieces across five days (65 hours) of sculpting in this one of a kind event. Here’s a really cool timelapse FathomVR captured for the Snow Sculpture Championships sponsors including the Town of Breckenridge, Budweiser, Columbia Sportswear, and Toyota.
