FathomVR Hosts the First Ever Camp9600 Immersive Marketing and Storytelling Event

By | Company News | No Comments

This is summer camp without the curfews and Kumbaya. There are still smores, campfires, and storytelling, but with an added slew of GoPro’s, virtual reality demos, some Breck Bourbon and a hefty dose of mountain biking.

If you’re the type of person who likes long, dull PowerPoint presentations and formal networking events, this is NOT for you. The camp was developed for content creators, strategists, marketing professionals, entrepreneurs and leaders in the outdoor and travel industries to inspire better immersive marketing techniques. For its inaugural year, the event focused on storytelling and leveraging the many channels available to engage today’s consumers, plus a look at the future of immersive marketing.

The conference runs 2 days, and is an event for innovators who believe in the power of storytelling and wanting to better tell stories, who also aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, get on the trails and create a story or campaign. Attendees learn from the top writers, filmmakers and photographers in the industry whose work has been featured in some of the world’s highest circulated magazines, major news networks, and on the big screen.

Next year’s event is already close to being sold out to presenters. There are some major names and brands that will be in attendance (can’t mention them yet), so keep an eye out and try your best to join in on the fun come September 11-13th, fall of 2016. See you there! You can find more information here.
